Alex Goldstein, CEO at 90 West, previously served as the Executive Director of Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick’s political committee, the TogetherPAC, overseeing the strategic implementation of the Governor’s national political efforts – including his primetime speech at the Democratic National Convention. Alex also served as spokesman for Governor Patrick in the Governor’s office, where he traveled to Israel with the Governor as spokesman for the administration's economic development mission.
Alex currently serves on the adjunct faculty at Emerson College and Northeastern University, and is an alumnus of Brandeis University and Newton North High School. |
Israel & Co. generates greater understanding of and appreciation for Israel among global leaders and rising leaders.
They are currently working with top graduate schools in the fields of business, law, and public policy, collaborating with student and faculty trip leaders who have expressed interest in participating, and providing the support they need to design and implement a memorable, fun and meaningful Israel experience. Participants get to appreciate Israel in ways that appeal to them directly: MBAs learn about innovation and entrepreneurship, while law students learn about policy, conflict, and the legal system, as examples. |
TAMID Israel Investment Group is a comprehensive, multi-phased program on American college campuses that connects business-minded students to economic ventures in Israel. Upon being accepted, members go through a semester of education that covers basic investing and consulting skills as well as seminars about the Israeli economy. After the semester students elect to join the Fund, Consulting, or both teams. Every summer, TAMID sends select members to Israel for sponsored summer internships. TAMID provides job-placement, living arrangements, and a travel stipend.

Babson College Offers Course on Start-Ups with 10-Day Israel Visit Babson College has taken an innovative new approach for a trip that is part of a new course on entrepreneurship. The trip focuses on the economics of Israel — specifically its start-up capability and entrepreneurial ecosystem. The trip occurs in conjunction with a course offered at Babson College entitled 'Israel Start-Up Strategy.' Twenty-five students enrolled in the class to study and 'understand the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Israel – a country of about seven million people with the highest rate of NASDAQ listings per capita of any nation,' according to the course description. |

MIT and the Technion - the Israel Institute of Technology are two institutions with more in common than their names: they attract some of the finest students and faculty in the world, explore cutting-edge research in science and technology, and create environments focused on innovation and discovery.
ConnecTech brings Jewish students at the two institutions even closer together. ConnecTech is a year-long fellowship beginning in the spring semester. The primary focus is on student interaction - creating personal bonds between small core groups of students at each institute and strengthening a sense of Jewish peoplehood. Students also travel to the other's campuses and see the culture, innovative technology ventures, and create people-to-people bridges between the two communities.
