The Break the Hate Mission to Washington, DC brings together 10 students of diverse backgrounds from college campuses in Massachusetts to explore their heritages and modern experiences together. Our tentative schedule includes visits to the new African American Museum of History and Culture, the Holocaust Museum, Shabbat services at the famous Sixth & I Synagogue and dinner in a historic Black district. The program will consist of guided tours and discussions. The program begins at 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 21st and concludes at 9:00 pm on Saturday, March 23rd. All activities are Shabbat-friendly and kosher food is available. Participants' airfare, hotel, and meals will be covered. Participants also receive free admittance (while supplies last) to attend AIPAC Policy Conference and are encouraged to attend this annual gathering (March 24th - 26th) in order to learn about the shared values of the US-Israel relationship. |
